Bam Bam was born in Las Vegas, NV and raised on a farm in Delta, UT. He’s always
been a hard worker, doing farm work and cement since the age of 12 and working as a contractor even while on the street, living in his vehicle and towing his tools until his vehicle was taken, along with his tool trailer. He was diagnosed with two forms of cancer and a brain aneurysm after being hit by a car, becoming homeless a year ago. Nomad Alliance is working to get him into a palliative care program as he is no longer allowed to do manual labor.

Born in 1970 in Las Vegas, NV, and raised in Delta, UT on a farm with his mother, step
father, and brother, Bam Bam learned many technical skills. He was working on the farm and for a local cement company by the age of 12. He became a contractor in his own right at 24 and was working doing things like steel staircase restorations in apartment buildings, until about a year ago when his relationship with his girlfriend ended. He couldn’t afford to move into a new place and couldn’t stay with her, so he set out in his vehicle with his tool trailer in tow.
He continued to do work as a contractor until his vehicle and trailer were taken. He had a
motorcycle and lived out of that until he was hit by a vehicle, an impatient and reckless driver hitting him and other motorcyclists. His bike was destroyed and while in the hospital for his injuries from being hit, Bam Bam was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in his liver and lungs, as well as a large brain aneurysm infiltrating both hemispheres of his brain. He is no longer allowed to do manual labor due to the risk of the aneurysm rupturing and was given a likely prognosis of 6 months to live. This all occurred 4 months prior to him being interviewed for this calendar.
