Join Us to Chat with Mayor Jenny Wilson on Public Safety Bond

We'd like to invite the public to a special conversation between Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson and select chronically unsheltered individuals about the half a billion dollar Public Safety Bond voted on this election focused on criminal justice reform and homelessness. The Nomad Alliance has spent the last several weeks in a concentrated effort to transport nomads to the DMV for IDs and then to register and vote early. Feedback from those with lived experience is important in a democracy, and this conversation will seek to merge the voices in power with those who lack it, while educating this new voting block on how to vote on this bond.

We will begin with brief introductions with our nomads and a conversation on the bond before our Mayor joins us for a special video conference from 12-12:30pm, with remarks among the nomads continuing after she leaves the call.
