Born in Los Angeles, California, and disabled by a traumatic car accident as a child,
Joe Reynolds has learned a lot of ways to survive. He worked odd jobs despite his injuries until he lost his feet, and has been living on the streets for around 15 years. Joe hopes to secure housing for himself, his girlfriend, and their dog, who have all been on the streets together for 6 years.
When asked about his dreams and passions, Joe could only say that they felt shattered after so much time on the streets. He takes life day by day,

Joe Reynolds is a regular face at a particular park in Salt Lake City, sitting in his wheelchair with his very sweet canine companion, Precious. In his 15 years on the streets, Joe has found living in a tent in the park to be safer than the shelters, stating that his things were being stolen, there were bugs, and interpersonal drama that made him feel unsafe to stay incongregate shelters.
Growing up in Los Angeles, California, Joe had a brother and three sisters. Tragically, his family was in a car accident where they were hit by a truck carrying propane. Joe was burned and suffers to this day with extremely painful nerve damage. He lost his fingers on one hand and one of his sisters passed away due to the accident. He was 5 years old.
