Nomad Alliance Invites Press to 5th Annual Nomad Calendar Launch Party, Autograph Signing & 5-Year Anniversary Celebration

Salt Lake City, UT — December 12, 2025 — Nomad Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the chronically unsheltered, invites media outlets to attend its Fifth Annual Nomad Calendar Launch Party and Autograph Signing, a milestone event that also celebrates the organization’s Five-Year Anniversary of service, advocacy, and community impact.
The celebration takes place tomorrow, bringing together supporters, volunteers, and the resilient individuals featured in this year’s calendar — a project dedicated to reframing how the public sees the men experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake City.
Event Details:
📅 Date: Tomorrow — Friday, December 12, 2025
🕠 Time: 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM
📍 Location: Evryday Convenience 973 W. North Temple, Salt Lake City, UT
Attendees — including members of the press — will have the opportunity to:
• Celebrate five years of Nomad Alliance’s impact in Utah.
• Experience the official unveiling of the 2026 Nomad Calendar.
• Meet the unsheltered models featured in the calendar.
• Participate in a live autograph signing by 13 models featured in the calendar.
• Enjoy music, community, refreshments, and stories of human resilience.
The Nomad Calendar Project elevates unsheltered men who are too often ignored, presenting them as sexy, dignified, and worthy of being seen. The calendar is both a fundraiser and a reframing: proceeds support Nomad Alliance's outreach efforts, with half going directly to the models themselves. The Nomad Alliance will be picking up the 13 Nomad Calendar models to take them to get showers, haircuts, and dress in donated suits; they will be signing your copy of the calendar throughout the evening.
“Our work remains the same today as it was on day one — to show up, see people fully, and support them without judgment,” said Kseniya Kniazeva, Executive Director. “This event honors the beauty, humanity, and perseverance of our nomad community.”
Calendars are available for a $40 donation to the Nomad Alliance, with half the profits split among the paid models and half going to fund our nonprofit's work to serve the chronically unsheltered all year long. Each calendar comes with bios of each model, and a QR code to their webpage with their longer life story, quotes and the best photos from their shoots.
Sexy Nomad Calendars make great Christmas gifts, and our nomad tribe will be there to wrap yours for you, so you have one less thing to worry about this Christmas.
Media Opportunities:
• On-site interviews with calendar participants and Nomad Alliance leadership
• Photo and video access to the launch party and signings
• Compelling visuals of community engagement, advocacy, and celebration
About Nomad Alliance: Nomad Alliance is a nonprofit providing life-saving supplies, advocacy, employment pathways, and community connection to individuals living outdoors in Salt Lake County. It also operates the country’s first mobile shelter, the Blue Bus, a truly low-barrier micro-shelter for those experiencing chronic homelessness operating on the streets of Salt Lake County 24/7 during the winter months. Through its mobile outreach, housing efforts, and direct-service programs, the organization uplifts and affirms Utah’s most vulnerable residents.
Quotes from past models about the Nomad Calendar Project:
Posing for the Nomad Calendar definitely gave me a confidence boost and ego boost. I’m so self-conscious about my looks but you helped me see that even though I felt ugly, that I was still attractive.”— Javier Johnson, 2022 Sexy Nomad Calendar model
“It reminded me I had a name.” Kenny, 2022 Sexy Nomad Calendar model
