NOMAD ALLIANCE INVITES COMMUNITY TO NOMAD TALENT SHOWCASE

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, AUGUSTPlease join us for the Nomad Talent Showcase, today, 6pm-2am at Utah Creative Chamber.

The benefit concert, and Sexy Nomad Calendar launch and autograph signing, intends to show that every life matters, and every body and its art, deserves to be seen.

The notorious calendar has gone all around the world, with the Washington Post, Times UK, the Daily Mail, Komsomolskya Pravda Moscow and even Philip DeFranco covering our novel, empowering production.

“It reminded me I had a name,” Kenny, our inaugural calendar cover model said recently.

Five calendar models, G3, Moss, 8ight, Marquis, and Giovanni, will be rapping an original song about their lived experience at the event. Three other women, aged 17-39, all formerly or inadequately sheltered, who have served monthly with the Nomad Alliance, will be performing as well.

Come grab your calendar, and have future stars autograph their month, hear their stories, learn about the true reality of those living on the streets. The stories of trauma and perseverance would change us all.

We are so excited for Simply B, Midnight Palm and Maxwell Sessions to delight us with their live music, and the following DJs for playing b2b, Sexy Nomad Calendar model Tony Lambert, DJ LoO HoO b2b Jodie Stackhouse, Bandwagon b2b Drippla, Psymoogle , and John. Sexy Nomad Calendar models G3, Moss, 8ight, Marquis, and Giovanni will perform an original rap about their lived experience, as will our team members Brandee Woodard, mother of calendar model Kendall and his father Michael, a family the Nomad Alliance kept together, and housed, despite all odds, and Poppy Henry, the 17-year-old daughter of our Board Secretary, a talented soul who has been serving with us since she was 14 years old.

Model Wolf will be vending handmade and scavenged worlds fit for a fairy, Kim Blackburn will be selling her intricately-woven bracelets, and Danilyn Levorsen will be selling and auctioning her sophisticated wreaths, and several other nomads will be vending their arts and crafts, as well as live painting, like Joshua Mellowseed Storey, a dear team-member for whom the Nomad Alliance provided a motorhome after he lost his to a fire, thanks to the generosity of OneSolar.

We invite you to bring cash for the Nomad vendors and to tip our Nomad performers, and, to donate toward a calendar so 13 beautiful souls can be paid for the art of who they are.

And there will be an epic silent auction!

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased via ticket link above or cash or card at the door. All media, can obviously, attend for free.

We would love for you to meet our models and decide for yourself: “Is the Sexy Nomad Calendar Empowering or Exploitative?”

You decide!

Let’s end National Homelessness Awareness Months with a bang!

Please support our work so we can keep people warm, fed and sheltered all winter long.

Thank you so very, very, much.
